The Anti-Kick Out Serration look cool but they are actually designed and placed to grab and hold trees & brush so it can be cut properly instead of being kicked out from blade impact much like a ratchet system. Also a front gate cover can also be purchased to cover the opening if you’re in an area where projectiles are a major concern or working with just small brush and need to mulch material finer.
